Easy fixed remove 512mb add 2gb problem solved good value at this price
Maximum is 2GB of RAM.
So the most you can put in is a 1GB module… total 1.5GB.
Enough to run Windows 7.
Wrong, you can put in a 2GB SODIMM RAM. Just that the system will only recognise 2GB, instead of 2.5GB.
Not a bad price for a 6 cell battery with bluetooth……Win7 runs fine on 1GB under the N270, so the ram isn't a huge issue.
It's worth noting however that the vertical res is only 576 pixels. So that's 24 576 fewer pixels than a 600 res screen!
There are essentially 3 differences between the S10 and S10e,
1) S10 comes with an Anti-glare matte screen,
while s10e has the cheaper Glossy screen.
2) S10 has 10.2 inch screen, S10e has 10.1 inch
3) as mentioned by ash, the screen resolution.Great price but the res is poor, still a good deal for a 'solid' notebook. Build quality is good on these.
After all - they have increased the unit price by $11 - so now it's $399
