In firefox on a laptop the site looks pretty bad (doesnt seem to format correctly horizontally) and no scroll bars. Would be looking at some additional testing.

just updated ! How about now?

      • +1

        much better in FF.
        pictures are very big!
font for the long item description could a point or two smaller, price (20AUD is small by comparison and hard to spot, and location could be better - eg, next to add to cart)

      • +1

        Yep - much better :)

be careful buying sd cards from ebay..

i got burnt already on a 64gig samsung.. looked legit.. even the packaging had the correct look.. and didn't realise until after left feedback.. seemed to work okay for the first 10 gig.. then anything after that just corrupted everything on it. there is an app you can get, that checks every but of the SD card, but takes hours.. buying from reputable shops saves heaps of headaches.. and lost data… OW sells the 32gig sandisk ultra fr $29.. not the cheapest.. but easy to return if issues, and never had an issue getting from OD, DSE or JB. The ebay seller had 99.7% rating and a few thousand transactions.. think everyone finds out to late that they got duped.

Shopping Express is reliable, they have been around Ozbargain for years.

    • I'm surprised he is able to maintain 99% doing that kind of business. Maybe he mixes the fakes in with the reals? or maybe the customers not too smart

      • +1

probably other users just like me.. looked legit.. put it in phone/tablet.. took a few pics.. looked okkay left 5 stars and positive rating.. then few months later when reached a certain limit.. pictures started getting corrupt.. i was thinking dam samsung phone.. not even suspecting the sd cards (and seems a few forums complaining about samsung phones corrupting pictures).. then saw this app that can test the card for being a fake.. downloaded it.. ran the test.. card came up with heaps of errors.. drats was a fake.. bought another samsung card from a reputable shop.. put it in.. never had a problem since.. now have a 64gig card which is useless.. feel so bad about chucking it in the bin, as paid a fortune for it.. oh well.. taught me to never get a sd card from ebay again :)

        • You could format it to it's real capacity, if it had been faked.

        • @Steptoe:

tried that.. i think the card is like a 16gb card, but the address locations of stuff over 10gig, just points over the top of items under 10gigs, hence why the first stuff worked.. but anything over that limit, just overwrites data below the limit, so corrupts everything.

        • @tsandu:
h2testw should tell you the capacity.

Contact is a Gmail address, can't see an ABN. Is this legit?

just bought the sandisk ultra 16gb microsd for my camcorder, cheers.

  • +3

Out of stock in just 38 minutes, something makes me think there was never enough stock for this promotion anyway.

    • sorry just limited stock available

  • +1

The 32Gb is out of stock, apparently. How many were there?

  • +4

    Come on guys.
    It is a sub-domain website
No contact details other than a Gmail email address
No ABN no ACN no nothing
How/where would such a non-entity get genuine SanDisk stock?

Also, the OP had been 'done' twice before this - once for SPAM and once for SockPuppeting

  • This is not even an Australia website. most probably a chinese website selling fake stuff.

    • +1

Tictail is a Swedish AWS hosted site, but DNS registrant is anywhere.

    • as mentioned, this website is for running out some stock only. I trust ozbargain myself and got lots of good stuff from there too. The reason that I am using the tictail is because it is free and easy. all order made by today will be dispatched no later than tomorrow. This post will be open for any further comments.

By placing an order at Yorokobi, you warrant that …

Your Terms & Conditions and Return Policy are mentioning "Yorokobi", so, you haven't even bothered to substitute for actual name, yet. Most likely, you don't even intend to service your customers.

        I trust ozbargain myself …

Yeah, but, most likely, even you wouldn't buy from your pop-up eshop - insufficient credibility.

Dodgy website, no ABN, no about details. Burn them !

    • +1

looking forward to some comments from customers who made the purchase in a couple of days

      • +1

        Received mine yesterday, cheers!

  • Let see how it goes, just bought 16g for my wife S5 !! order #3237515 - hope I will receive it soon :)

    • +1

      I've received it today

      • good to hear that, hope you like it

  • Shhesh dudes, the OP was attentive re questions/ price-matching etc.; maybe hold off on the negs/judgement until some orders have been received and tested? If they all arrive promptly and are legit re capacity, will there be apologies? lol, I doubt it…

    • +1

I'm more negging because of the issues around the website - no (usable) contact details, no ABN, cut and paste T&C's etc.

    • Shhesh dudes, the OP was attentive re questions/ price-matching etc.; maybe hold off on the negs/judgement until some orders have been received and tested? If they all arrive promptly and are legit re capacity, will there be apologies? lol, I doubt it…

      "attentive re questions"

So were these scam web sites.

A3A, any idea why OzB doesn't make it ABN mandatory for store reps?

        • "… why OzB doesn't make it ABN mandatory for store reps?"

Maybe because no stores based overseas will have ABNs?

        • +1

no stores based overseas will have ABNs

Sometimes it's obvious but sometimes not and it would be useful to know conclusively where the store is based. The usefulness comes from being Australian-based but somehow obfuscating adherence to Australian Consumer Laws and its obligations.

Nowadays, people wanna try sth even just $1 cheaper without considering the
    risks.
We all can buy fake SD card from china on 1/3 or 1/4 price of legit ones. Then build a website, sell cheaper on it.As easy as that.

Ozbargain comments sometimes are not trustable since registering on this site
is free and without ID checked. Even there are some comments saying this is
legit, I don't think it is a reason to buy from a untrustable website.

    Anyways,everyone gets a choice.
