You will need a decent amp to run these, might be worth mentioning for those who are not audio experts.

      Thanks, updated the post.

  • How does DT880 compare to HD650?

    • Similar level of performance with DT880 being a brighter headphone and HD650 being a darker headphone.

      • Thanks.

If you're looking at senn's house sound (specially 650) then be sure to try these out. They are sibilant and WILL hurt if you're used to rolled off smooth sound signatures.

Sibilance aside, these are nearly as good as the T1 really.

  • This is a good price. I got the DT880 Pro (250 Ohm) in Aug 2013 from Amazon US for $274, and they are lovely, even driven through my work laptop.

Make the most of your purchase with a decent amp.

    "35,000 Hz"

    Seems legit.

  • Wow, great price. I've got the 250ohm version and I can confirm they sound very good. The velour earpads start to stink after many sessions but they are removable so they can be washed. The padded top bit that goes on the top of your head might accumulate sweat and that is not removable.

These cost $400 from a respected Australian retailer, so I'd recommend them if you have a good headphone amplifier.
