Disagree HTC is non removable battery and screen is inferior, poor support and no Lollipop update unless you root and install custom roms

Please beware of items received from dwi. My friends have bought phones from dwi and some of them receive returned items (one opened the back cover and found a Hong Kong sim card in it) and dead on arrival items. Cheers.
There prices are different for Golden color. Buying a $500 do you think it's worth buying from a grey vendor. I prefer to pay few more $$ and secure my investment in case of a issue with the product.
true, but theres no 32gb aus stock g3s. So different pros and cons with going grey or local stock with this. With grey you'll find needing any issue support will be lacking in comparison to most brick and mortar stores. Or your purchase can go fine and your g3 lives for many years to come.
also for anyone interested in the gold 32gb g3 t-dimension have it for $492.10, gold is the best colour imo. And gold spigen slim armor goes really well with it.I did, works great - not looking back!

The main thing I'm looking for is camera, battery life (1 full day will do) and smooth operation (my samsung galaxy nexus is becoming very laggy)

The G2 has amazing battery life and is better than the G3. I can get up to 3.5 days (no tweaks), or over 1 day of heavy usage.
The extra RAM is unneeded for most people unless they're heavy app users. I run a lot of apps and have 10+ browser tabs open most of the time, and never experience lag on my G2.
The camera is the same, the only difference being a 'laser autofocus'. Debatable if there's much benefit there, the G2 autofocus works just fine for me, and the camera is very sharp. Low light is about the same as most other phones.
The G2 is fast and has no lag. Sure this year's phones can be measured/benchmarked as 'faster' but in the real world most people would struggle to tell the difference.
G2 is still great. Save some money and I guarantee you'll be happy with it (as long as you're not a super advanced user who should know what they want anyway).

The Korean versions have lots of bloatware and comes with a DVB TV tuner which may not work properly. The battery gets drained very quickly. On the other hand the international version comes with no bloatware and a functional FM radio tuner. Other than that Korean models get the updates fastest from what I experienced.
