Dealings with eVitamins.com?

Has anyone had any dealings with eVitamins.com. I have come across this site that sells very cheap vitamins. I like it because I can pay via PayPal. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with them. Also, are there vitamins that I should not order because they may not be approved in Australia. Don't want to waste money on vitamins that may be confiscated by customs.

  • Have a look at iHerb.com as well. They have cheap shipping that is tracked - eVitamins dont have tracked shipping to Australia.

By the look of it, Evitamins are cheaper on some things, but the shipping would probably kill it and make iHerb better value.

There are a couple of bargains listed at the moment on Ozbargain for iHerb, and none for eVitamins… if that makes any difference to you.

    Hope this helped.

    • Thank you for taking the time to respond. I did look at iHerb.com but the only put off was that they do not use PayPal. I know it may sound paranoid but I have never felt comfortable using my credit card to purchase items over the internet.

      • Mmmm… I feel paranoid spending big $ and not getting tracking!

      • iherb is safe, I have used them several times over.

        • Thank you. It looks like I will have to give them a go (and stop being paranoid) They do have everything I want at such a reasonable price.

  • You could also look at www.vitacost.com

(they have a flash 12% sale on at the moment!)

    • Forgot to mention, they accept paypal

Here is the exclusions list from iHerb for shipping to Australia. Anything else will be fine to buy…

    Restrictions
Supplements containing egg yolks, dairy, MSM, DHEA, Melatonin, bee pollen, bee pollen as a powder, banana, Hoodia, Camu Camu powder, and Cordyceps powder are not allowed to be imported into Australia.
    All dairy products are restricted.
Products with hemp oil are restricted.
Egg products, if the egg albumine in a product is high, are restricted.
Products with hormones like Pregnenolone, HGH, 7-Keto, and others are restricted.
Some products with enzymes may be prohibited, so please check with customs before importing.
Dried beans, lentils and rice require an import permit, and/or may be subjected to quarantine inspection fees.
Kava requires a special permit when ordered.
Pet supplements require an import permit.

    • Thank you for all the information. You are right. Tracking is important. The exclusion list is good. Do you know what will happen if I purchase from the exclusion list ie melatonin. I have purchased melatonin from a health food store in the past and wonder how they got it into Australia. It was the NOW brand 10 mg. It cost me over $50 and under $13 from os.

      • I purchase melatonin from iHerb and it has never been taken by customs. I tend to just get one bottle in amongst a lot of other things though!

  • I highly recommend iHerb, such good prices plus items excluded are not available to australia as mentioned above is handy.

    • Thank you. They do have lots of good stuff and are so cheap.
