Will car prices fall this year or are we looking at a hike due to drop in Aussie Dollar ?

The yen is dropping against the Aussie Dollar. (AU$ up about 9% for 2014).
Japan is entering another recession.

The FTA agreement wipes off the 5% tariff.

So prices look to fall - see imtahir7 link.

I was pricing a Mazda CX9 recently and from 2 weeks ago to yesterday the price dropped around 10% on their flyers. I wasn't sure why this was the case but the link above helped potentially explain it.

      Be careful of fuel consumption on CX9: hear stores of the 20+ l/100km. See whirlpool etc.
