Great tip Dan. No one app meets all of my training needs. Runkeeper good for general running, Endomodo good for intervals.
All these apps just seemed to take way to much time to be useful for me.
Then I have also read how inaccurate a lot of these cheap sensor measurements are and they also might be misleading to boot (though fair play it does depend what is being recorded and so on I would guess)
Using the apps really takes no time at all. My time spent is just looking at different stats later on.
I need these to motivate me to run as I don't really enjoy it so things like this keep me at it.
I think the accuracy is more to do with the phones GPS and any accessories you may use as opposed to the app itself.
I use a chest strap and a foot pod with Garmin app on my Xperia Z1 compact and find it all very accurate. A 10km run is at most 100m out.
I also downloaded Connectstats to my iPad as it seems to have a few different views of my history.

If I reinstall my Android operating system or change to a new phone, will I still able to enjoy the Pro features in the future?

if you do a backup of the app, once you reinstall os you should be able to fully reinstall it as it was at time of backup,
no idea if this work when you change phone, and no idea if they use different installer for tablet and phone
personally if i like an app i just buy it, more efficient than amazon outdated( swiftkey for examples) or this app of the day (doesn't allow for multi device install unlocked automatically)
still good way to test if an app is of interest and solid
So to confirm, any free apps that's via the app of the day app/app of the day code can only be used/linked to 1 device?
I didn't know that and I have gotten a few apps via AOTD in the past.
Cant recall which ones, It's gonna suck trying to work out which ones are from AOTD.

as per below comment depend on app, would say if is an app with cloud sync probably will be linked to the google account, if has no cloud sync guess not
With the last promo(Dec 24/25) I used a code for pro on one of my phones, today I installed the app in another of my phones and on that phone the pro is enabled Just need to use the same account when login.
cool to know, last time i tried was not working, probably yours was an app with cloud sync.
I have just reset my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to factory settings and reinstalled this Runtastic app via the free version then logged in with my username and it seems I still have access to the pro features.
Let's hope this will be the same case when I change to a new phone.
I got it last time and received email "your trial ended, please pay" few weeks later
Was that the trial for the Gold membership or the pro features? No idea what the differences are…

Thanks I found the settings eventually. I have an S3 and I had to press the lower left button on the phone itself, it wasn't a menu item. However the promo code didn't work as I guess it's expired.
Thinking it might be time to mark as "EXPIRED!"
Grabbed this last time and it looks good but unfortunately it can't be synced on Tapiriik.
I'm setup with this so can use Runkeeper,Garmin Fit, Endomondo or Strava and all sync together.
Seems odd I know but each app is slightly different and each app has different stats.
