I am a tenant and have been for the past 11 years living in Australia.
I am wondering if there's any service provider that allows tenant to directly pay their landlord using credit card? I had a look at rentalrewards.com.au and it seems they all through property agency.
wouldnt it be great if you can pay them with CC instead of cash?
DEFT offers this but at about 2.5% I don't there's many (if any) rewards programs where you'd be better off than just paying cash and saving the 2.5%
As mentioned PayPal is an option, but landlord would want you to pay a surcharge for PayPal fees. IMO the points would not be worth the surcharge.
try buying the Gift card from Auspost from CC and do and EFT with that

so what you are saying is, buy a gift card (prepaid visa) and give it to the landlord? how does that even work? can they withdraw the cash?
is there a way to do EFT?

ATM withdrawal is limited to $250 + operator fee, not worth it
WE had a look at this for a long time back. DEFT offers the options to pay by C/C but the surcharges out weight any points earned.

would paypal not do provide this ?.
im sure your land lord wont mind you paying with paypal if you pay for the fees involved.
