They're roughly $13 shipped from ebay.

Unless the shipping is <$1 i think people would be better off on ebay.

$6.95 for standard shipping? Cheaper to get from Ebay.

    • I got mine for ~$2.50 on eBay.

      • A Nillkin or a generic one?

    "scratch-resistant flowers and blowout."… Cool!!

  • got my .33mm for 2.5 AUD approx from aliexpress. 2 week delivery and works a charm.

    Anti-Explosion Screen Protector

Great, now to find a deal on a bomb proof suit and i am set!

  • Does anyone use it on the Note 4 considering it has Gorilla Glass 4

    • +2

GG 1-3 can all get scratched regardless of Corning's marketing, so I wouldn't be surprised if GG4 can get scratched too.

    • +3

we use this to protect the Gorilla from being harmed.

Also, if you drop your phone on it's face, the glass screen protector breaks instead of your phone, so it's definitely still worth it !

      • I wish that was the case for my S4. It had a glass screen protector but the screen still cracked and became unfunctional.

        • *not guaranteed :-/

  • mine has one deep scratch on ONEPLUS ONE. maybe i got fake one from ebay. how do you tell which is real vs fake?

  • "Owns super high transmittance and high restoring the original color of screen"

I'd be worried it's burn my ear off, and the original colour of all my screens has been black, changing only when I turn it on.

  • have one for my note 2, bought it from tmall china.
this thing is over packaging i think, no harm anyway.
touch is good, clarity is good, feel liked phone screen.

  • Anyone bought from eBay who can recommend a seller?

  • +2

Hi everyone, sure you can buy on eBay cheaper or elsewhere. These are Genuine NILLKIN - just not your average screen guard.

Our product has the Genuine hologram. As this product is often pirated.

    • I'm not an expert so I can't say for sure, but I've order two Nillkin tempered glass for my phones and both came in Nillkin packaging with a hologram and everything listed in the kit inside.

      Both was <$15 shipped.

      @cap_n,

I've use ssmooth_ooperator before and they were quite quick in delivery and as I said, arrived in Nillkin packaging. Can't really complain.

    • "sure you can buy on eBay cheaper or elsewhere"

Thanks… I'll do just that then. This is OzBargain after all.

  • $6.95 shipping for those interested.

So I just bought 2. One for my 6 and one for the missus' 6+. Still only $6.95 shipping. Total of $30.91. Almost <$15 shipped @ProjectZero

      • If the shipping is capped, buying multiple would be a deal =)

  • would it be a stupid idea to put this kinda glass protector on top of a plastic film (2-layer protection)??

    • Yes, it's probably stupid.

These glass ones usually have a plastic layer anyway.

The main thing about glass is how easy they are to apply. There is a kind of "post-it note glue" which adheres the glass to glass without any bubbles… it's awesome compared to the hassle of dealing with a plastic protector.

I am not sure it'd stick properly to the existing plastic.

    • Definitely not a good idea.
If you REALLY want 2-layer protection, put the plastic film on top of this glass one.

    • cool, thanks guys! :)

  • How close to the edge do these go on a 6+?

I have one now that is great but has a wide gap around the edge (it only covers the screen and none of the bezel).

    Any close-up pics?

  • Is it generally an easy process picking it back off if it gets dirty enough or cracks on an impact?

    • Yup, removing it is really easy. Just lift one side and work your way around.

      • I'd also imagine that any insult sufficiently bad enough to damage this would also mean you'd be replacing the screen anyway.
