Hey everyone
I have a 13 inch ultrabook and looking to complement with a 2nd monitor hopefully 22-27inches. However I would ideally have a couple of downstream USB ports to connect the mouse/keyboard etc given my ultrabook has limited ports. Does anyone know the typical brands that have such features? I know Dell has it but want to look at other options.
Thanks
Monitors with USB Ports - what are the typical brands?

Kinda not the same, because you might want powered hubs which means you also need to run a cable to a power plug. In-built USB on monitors draw power from one power source.
Dell UltraSharp monitors!
Usually a lot of the Dell branded monitors have USB ports…either around the side of the frame or around the back of the monitor!
Just curious, does this react like normal USB ports attached to the PC or is it only readable by the monitor? I personally have a U2713HM but never touched those USB because I wasn't sure what it was used for.
Works like normal, I plug my bluetooth dongle, Logitech nano receiver and wireless dongle to my Ultrasharp Monitor without any problems.
HP Compaq Monitors have them (at least the LA2206x & LA2205wg that are sitting in front of me at work do).
So at the moment, it is predominantly Dell and HP? That seems disappointing. I was hoping it would be a bit more popular.
Any monitor will have USB ports, easy, just buy a hub and hot glue gun it to the back.
