The price on the BLACKVUE DR650GW-2CH with the 10% off is higher then what a store rep quoted me in December.
most items are overpriced, even 10%off worth nothing, cheaper to buy from drop shipping site like gearbest or eBay.

Im all for buying heaps of crap from china, increasingly though, stuff is turning up dead, wrong or not at all, so thumbs up for the locals here, i dont need a G1w, if i did, id buy from here over a perceived $20 saving from china
apart from that quick shipping, you gain nothing from this. All of these cams are chinese made, they just imported it here for you. With half the price, you get the same item and it won't be fake if you know where to source it from, otherwise paypal purchase protection will do the rest. And if you're unfortunate enough to get a dud item down the path, buying another one will turnout to cost the same (they even have the newer model by then with the same price).

Never bothered with insurance or expedited shipping, never had a problem. Gearbest.com cams are genuine. Novatek 96650 chipset. I'd get a G1WC instead. Left mine in the window on Adelaide's 44.1 degree day.. still works flawlessly.

last time I looked, tax for most people out there was worth 32.5cents every 100
or, roughly speaking, 1/3rd of 1 dollar (even more over $80k!!, which of course, everyone here earns)
something that costs $90 is therfore effectively worth a $30 odd refund at tax time if it's 100% used for business
or, if it's used for business 1/3rd of the time, it's worth a $10 refund….

@bleugh: Sorry that is not how the tax system works. It doesn't matter where you buy something from, a business expense is a business expense. The ONLY difference for a business will be that one has GST which may be additionally claimable where the other doesn't - so you won't ever see more than a 10% advantage for buying local as a business.

After 20hrs since posting still no specific bargain has been highlighted so a negative vote from me.

I am going to chime in with you. I am one of the mods of a car enthusiast group and I regularly organize Group Buys with 20 avg orders for them. And with that small number I can negotiate way more than the 10% discount off listed price with the retailers. With the buying power and reputation OZB has, 10% discount is nothing. Sorry, I will not consider this a deal but just an advertisement spam.
