  • Awesome deal.

I don't understand the reason why they included the camera though…

  • options for people but by far the worst values of three things on offer

    • What I meant was, why would they include 1 item thats half the price of everything else?

It made more sense to offer everything on a sliding scale depending on the RRP value.

Either way, the consumer wins and in terms of RRP value on the free stuff, they're still ahead of everyone else.

      • don't know but mad to choose camera unless you have other stuff and need a camera. Blu ray HT looks good brand new release

        • Who knows, they've been playing their camera ad with the dog so maybe that'll draw people in.

All that's left is for LG and maybe Toshiba and Hisense to bring out their deals.

  • The camera is expensive ($749 retail I think?) but the twin tuner HD recorder would be the pick unless you have a HTPC already, in which case the Blu-ray system would be good. Definitely try and listen to the HT first, the bass is a little lacking and I am not a huge fan of HTIBs.

Good find, should be some excellent sales around.

    • camera is only 549 on panasonic website so only worth 1/2 the other stuff

      • My mistake, I guess the HT and PVR will go quickly then :)

  • Anybody know about sc-bt200? How much is rrp?

    • $1099 check the pana webpage it is listed there

  • Anyone know when this promo started? Bought a 46" G10 a couple of weeks ago, and wondered if they would honour any previous purchases or not? Hard to tell as there are no details on any other website.

    • Whenever they run promotions they are effective from that date only, and this promotion hasn't even begun yet so I would sadly say you're out of luck.

I have a friend who bought a Samsung TV 2 weeks ago and will miss out on the 22" free LCD promotion too. I have heard of some retailers fudging receipts but it's probably illegal for a whole bunch of reasons. Worthwhile giving your retailer a call or giving Panasonic a call.

Maybe convince your retailer to 'return' it, then you can 'buy' it again? You would have to ask very very nicely :)

    • Gee that's a shame if you can't. I almost bought the 46 G10 Saturday but will wait until this promo starts on the 24th. Out of interest - what price you pay and where from?

    • I would say no has happened to me a few times with cashback always told bad luck

  • I paid $2050 from Bing Lee with 3 yr warranty upgrade. Great TV btw. Really pleased with it. Had always thought I would be buying a Samsung LED, but after reading a review on CNet, I changed my mind. Plus it was about $2k cheaper than the LED!

    • Great deal. Best I can get is $2150 with 12mth warranty from Myer. They also had 50 G10 for $2199 but it will be too big for my Room which is only 3m wide.
