OzGameShop Wont Refund Player Point Voucher

A warning about Ozgameshop, They accidentally refunded an order I had, but I never received the money back into my paypal account. Weeks past and it was taking too long, so I escalated it to paypal and another week past without Ozgameshop contacting Paypal about the claim. And I finally got my money back. I originally used a $20 player point voucher in that order and throughout that time I was asking when would I get that voucher back as it says so on their website. But I received a reply from Ozgameshop saying that "you wont be having your voucher redeemed as you have already received to much from us."

      which is a shame, I used to buy a lot from them.

      now, they charge for shipping, less responsive and useful customer service, uncompetitive prices.

      • They still don't even have an automated system for digital games, right? They said a year and a bit ago they were setting it up…

    I don't understand this.

    They accidentally refunded an order you had? You mean they cancelled your order and refunded your money without you asking them to do so? But you didn't actually get the money? So they just cancelled said order and promised a refund you didn't ask for and they ultimately never provided?

    Confusing story, bro.

    • from what I get from OP story, he used a $20 voucher player points + some extra fund from paypal. Paypal has refunded the extra fund but Ozgameshop doesn't refund the $20 voucher points yet.

        But who cancelled the order? If he cancelled, I would say that he pretty much forfeited his points. If they cancelled the order after it had gone through then as an act of good will they should offer him a new coupon.

          I was asking about a price decrease about a product that I had in my order that hadn't been shipped yet, I asked whether they could refund me the difference like price match it or should I just cancel the order and re order it. The next email I got said they cant match it and canceled my order.

    So Its been another week and I haven't heard back from Ozgameshop or their representative here on Ozbargain

    • That sucks.. not surprising though. Last seen: 8 hours 46 min ago. So they have been online. Send them a PM and see if they are more willing to help that way.

    • Sorry to hear that… Well I know where I'm not buying from anymore…customer service is as important as the price for me, and at the moment they're struggling to be competitive with both!
