I read the "Choose Your Own Adventure.." part and thought ooh! fun!, then read the rest ".. With Hitler Book".
Wasn't expecting that.
Why do you need to travel to 13 different time eras to kill Hitler? He's in only era, and it should be a simple task if you're from 2525.
Maybe the best way to "kill him" is to stop him from being born in the first place?
Hence needing to go back to different eras to make certain changes/influences to then create a different series of events, than would normally have occurred to make Hitler… born ('make born'? did I just say that?).
Maybe you don't need to go to 13 eras but you have the option of 13 eras to travel to… endless fun! Imagine all the ways you could go back and prevent Hitler from being born! It's the game that keeps on giving.

But wouldn't you risk also preventing your own birth? If you go back far enough in time, you might affect some other lineage of which you happen to have descended from.
