Hi guys,
I'm thinking to make my own bubbles solution for my little daughter.
Googled recipes, they are using glycerin.
Where can I get glycerin cheaply?

What is your preferred brand and mix ratio? I've recently tried with two brands and the results have been woeful.
Uh… I use any thats at home. Start with a little bit of detergent, add a little bit of water so its not so thick, stir and test it. Keep repeating till youre happy with the texture and results.
yeah, we have never had success with washing detergent - never makes great bubbles.
I may be wrong here, but I suspect that more expensive brands of detergent may create better/more bubbles. Do you use homebrand detergents by any chance, PVA? (no judgment here - I use el cheapo ones myself).
@waterlogged turnip:
Haven't done it for years. Wife buys some earth friendly brand, not sure of the name (or what earth friendly actually means)
what about trying some sorbelene / glycerin hand cream shaken into washing liquid.
woolworths has it (and I guess all supermarkets)

I found some "Nitro" branded glycerin in my grandfathers farm shed. Hopefully that will make some good bubbles for my daughter.
Fairy dishwashing liquid (previously dawn brand) is the best for bubbles
I just use dish washing detergent diluted with water….
