My Experience with Qwibble Cashback

So, signed up to Telstra 28/8/14, that was all good to go 1/9/2014. Signed up via Qwibble for the $120 cashback. They marked it tracked from 29/8/14, and didn't mark it as payment received till 9/12/2014.

This is how it went with a support ticket I raised in October:

Hey David,

Telstra has paid us commission and it usually takes three months. You will get the cashback in the next payment run.

And guess what, money still hasn't been received. I get that the Telstra cashbacks take at least 3 months, I knew that when I signed up. I just didn't think they'd hold onto it for another month (likely just to collect the interest on it).

I'll keep this updated when they reply to my new Support Ticket (since they closed the last one).

    My experience is that Qwibble is useless, their support personel could care less about you, your experience using their service or whever you recieve your legitimate cashback or not.
    Would never bother wasting my time on this crappy service again.

  • Update:
    Marked as paid on the 14th (Wednesday), as of today (Tuesday the 20th) it's still not in my bank account.

  • Sent a ticket, they're looking into it and to let them know if it isn't showing in the account by Monday.

    Sigh it's just ridiculous, having to keep on top of them

  • And money has cleared in the account. So for anyone viewing this later on, that's just shy of 5 months till money in the bank, and probably only from following them up! Another person who jumped in on the same deal I did, said their cashback just went missing from their Qwibble account early in the process.

  • I waited over a year got nothing but promises in the end told them to stuff it and close my account.. not worth my time.
