Looking for a Spin Bike

Hey there,

A friend is looking for a spin bike. She left her jerk of a husband. Good on her! But the latter, being the jerk that I always knew he was, kept all their indoor gym equipments and the cars. So she is looking for a spin bike that can be delivered to her place.

Her budget is $250ish (including freight). She's currently looking at getting this lifespan one

I know very little about spin bike and I've got no idea if there are better deals out there.

Please point me in the right direction ozbargainers.

p.s: Is her weight, size important? My best guess is …ummmmm let's just say she's a normal sized female human.
pps: The mrs is 187cm and weighs 52cm .She's wearing one the mrs' dress tonight and it looks ok on her..so probably same size and weight.

    From what I found whilst researching + experience. Apparently the lifespan equipment isn't too good. Don't buy any of those magnetic ones under $200 on ebay

    I have a Gold's Gym one I think it's called, works for me was about $400 I believe. One of those things where you either spend a bit more or have something that breaks in a week

      She got a this Its a lifespan one and I must say that I'm quite impressed with it. Good value for money. She paid $299 and it comes with a 12 months warranty on parts and a lifetime warranty on the frame.

      Edit: It came unassembled and in a box that was easy to fit in a car.
