    Well, you could get a ps4 for that price and a few games.

    Or if you don't care about the latest and greatest you can pick up a PS3, and get nearly a decade worth of cheap games for probably <$10 each, maybe 20 max?

    Bargain buckets to be had!

      Rufus has a point, holden. If the fact that a ps4 is $400 is a reason not to purchase thisthen… Damn you're missing out on a lot of good games at that price, due to no backwards compatibility. I believe that because that Playstation 4 doesn't have BC means that the PS3 should be worth MORE because there's no other way to play all dem tasty exclusives.

      Nintendo made the Wii-U BC and now you can pick up a wii for less than a burger because of it.

  i think i've played maybe 1 hr of my ps4 so far (just driveclub)

  i use my ps3 almost every day

    I concur, I see no reason to get a PS4 at the minute, unless you want to pay over the odds for buggy games.

      GTA5 is a compelling reason but then its imminently due on PC, its native home

      TLOU is good too

      arent all of Sony's exclusive IP kinda rubbish (ie. Infamous, LBP)?

      Uncharted is ok?

        I use my ps3 mainly for GT6. I'm waiting for GT7. Is that ok with you how I spend my money?

        I could afford both of the consoles in both time and money, and yet I still hate the PS4 and the Xbone because they don't have any games. I, however, love the PS3 and the incredibly flawed Xbox 360 (even though I need a knife to open the disc tray these days). Why? Because the games were amazing and incredulously numerous.

        The fact that people still use the "You only hate it coz you can't afford it" argument is astounding. I hate it because the games are getting much prettier and much worse (Cough Assassin's Creed Unity, cough Ryse, cough Dead Rising 3, cough Knack, COUGH SONIC BOOM).

        I'll get it this Christmas when Order 1866, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, No Man's Sky come out (And much more!) :3 Then I'll stop hating it for lack of games. (Unless those games all suck)
