About to commit to overseas travel, in the past we have purchased Travel Ins. Direct policies and never made a claim. This year when we decided to use the WP Gold (now Platinum) Visa card policy for our trip, mainly because of good feed backs. I had a small accident, and therefor made a small claim on our return home. Zurich Insurance the underwriter for the policy was a dream to deal with, they accepted my detailed account and photos of the incident and settled promptly.
Since the Fee Free for life cards offered by WP and Citibank mentioned here during the year I'm in a quandary to which card I should use.
Checked and downloaded both policies, there seem to be clear differences even though both are underwritten by Zurich Ins.
Anyone here able to assist with their knowledge and guide me in which card has a better policy at this time.
btw I cancelled my original WP card and successfully applied for the fee free one.
