Yes it has its flaws but having used this vacuum for the good part of this year I highly recommend it for someone looking for a vacuum cleaner which is half away between a cheapie and a Dyson.

  bought this from HN a month ago for $269 they said they overstocked on this
  the remote buttons are really crappy more than half the time it doesnt function

  other than that it seems alright i guess

  Yeah the remote isn't very responsive but I just repeatedly press it until it responds. Usually 3-4 quick presses. Not a deal breaker as it works well otherwise.

  For only a little extra you can buy a Miele… Quality is always the best bargain.
  Make sure you get a 2200w and with a turbo head.
