    xiaomi has launched a couple of new powerbanks lately. namely the 16000mah and the slimmer 5000mah, which if not wrong supercedes the 5200mah.

      They do. Check the cardboard container of the battery. There is a sticker with a gray part on it , that you can scratch off.

      Underneath is the serial code you can check online.

      There is a chine captcha so I can't finalize the process though.
