Hi all, my earphones have broke down and I'm looking for a replacement headphones/earphones. I'm curious on what I can get in terms of these categories-
*Best under 50 dollars
*Best under 100 dollars
*Best under 200 dollars
Also curious on where the best place to buy said earphones/headphones are. Thank you all :D

Fairly biased, but my 2 cents:
Under $50: Philips SHP 2000/2500/3000 or SHL 3100/3300/4500 or the Philips CityScape range (avoid the SHL3000). A good price to pay for any of these is $20 - $50. Look on EBay, BigW or DSE. I would especially recommend the SHP 3000.
Under $100 (The price bracket of severely diminishing returns): Sony MDR7506/7509/7510/MDRV6 Professional or AKG K240.
Under $200 (when they're on sale): Philips Fidelio X1
Avoid like the plague:
Senny HD201s (a.k.a. Tin City), Sony MDR-XB series (MDR = My Doof Rules), Senny 202, 438, 449, 518, 280.
I have Audio Technica M50X. Got it for $149 from Ebay. I am just full of praises and most people who have it would too.
