Ok - So I was on the hunt for a budget ($40-$70) simple outdoor setting for a friend. I came across this decent looking set @ Bunnings.
For under $30 I think this is a great deal.

Each item is approx. 40kg each? Surely that cant be right. Sounds like they'd make awesome workout weights!

I just looked on the Bunnings listing, & it says the weight is 8.9kg, which I'm guessing is for the entire set!!Are you drunk?
haha nup, just multitasking and missed the 'can take weights up to' part, misreading it as 'weighs 120kg' :/

These are OK as long as you don't live near the coast.
The powder coating on the metal chair legs and frames is not
the best quality and will flake off within a year.
I have bought 3 sets of these and returned each one after 3 months with rust bubbling
under the powder coat.Oddly, the table doesn't rust like the chairs do.
I have a similar experience, living near the beach. Purchased this in 2012 and the chairs have rusted. But within two years the table rim became so infested with rust that it completely disintegrated.

When I purchased mine the price was marked at $49 but scanned at $29.25 as they had just gone on special that day.
I bought a set a few years ago. Unless they've changed, don't keep the chairs in the sun, otherwise they'll deteriorate during summer and you'll fall through them.
Bought this set for like $50. No brainer at that price. Actually bad decision.
Was rusted badly after a month. 12mths later, I'm not confident it'll hold the glass anymore, the seats will take a user, or that it's safe with my toddler near it ( jagged rusty/rotting edges).
Hmmm… I'm wondering why I still have it.
Purchased this a few days ago. Chairs are already assembled and can take weights up to 120kgs. The table requires assembly (easy) and the table top is tempered glass.
