2 for 1 Future Music Festival [Masterpass Promotion] via Moshtix

480

Hi guys,

I just received an email from FMF.
Future Music Festival 2015 along with Mastercard will be offering 2 for 1 tickets for the first 1000 tickets (not sure if this means 500 transactions available, or 1000??)
Tickets will be sold through:
http://www.moshtix.com.au/v2/masterpass

Anyways, thought this might be useful for anyone who was planning on going, but hasn't gotten to buying tickets.
The lineup is available at the website: http://www.futuremusicfestival.com.au/2015/

Masterpass seems to be a new service offered by Mastercard, rivalling PayPal in function.
Currently, it's only open to a few select banks (CBA/Bankwest/Bendigo/NAB)

You can sign up through the website:
https://www1.mastercard.com.au/content/moments/australia/en/…

Once at the website, select your bank and sign up.
Personally, for me, with CBA, it was a matter of just clicking accept through NetBank.

  • $80 a ticket for that lineup is certainly much more palatable than $160.

    • For sure! After a bunch of recent and upcoming music events, the wallet feels much, much lighter. I recall having paid $100 for Avicii's TRUE tour earlier this year, so I guess at $80 it's not too bad.

      Im just going for Prodigy.

  • ticket allocation has been exhausted but not being supported by 28 Degees or ANZ ruled me out.

    • +2

I signed up to a NAB wallet and loaded my ANZ visa card and it still worked

      • thanks I tried again and it worked also used NAB wallet.

  • Holy moly.

  • Hasnt seemed to work for commbank wallet

    • whoops helps when you read the post. Didnt use your link, just went through future music website.

  • Damn. Bought my tickets a month too early

  • Can you only register for Masterpass with an invitation code? :( (I only have a Westpac Mastercard)

    • Seems to be that way. I tried earlier and also with Westpac

  • One for the guest & one for their 'mule' :P

GOOD DEAL MATE. Bought ticket for me and my moite. Now to decide whether to charge my moite $80 or $160…. heheh

    • To be a douchebag or not to be… that is the question.

  • Just bought, glad I waited!. Thanks.

  • Purchased, cheers OP.

we're all gonna make it brah

  • The only act that would push me to this is Darude.

  • Awesome deal, thanks OP.

Hi OP, found this regarding the tickets on the moshtix site: Customers will receive 1 ticket that admits 2. This offer is strictly limited to 1,000 tickets and available until 11.45pm 05 January 2015 unless sold out prior.

    • ah thanks for the find!

  • Got mine! With cba

  • How do you sign up for nab wallet?

Edit: got it, just choose nab and use my credit card from Westpac

  • Will not work for me..

    Signed up with NAB Masterpass..
Added a card, navigates back to moshtix site stating:
There was an unexpected error processing your booking
Your booking was unsuccessful. Check the above message and then try again with your purchase.

Then I signed into NAB masterpass, added a different card, same thing.

    Anyone getting the same issues?

    • Try a different browser. I used chrome

    • I had that issue when I used my AMEX. When I changed to my Visa it asked me to sign into Verified by Visa and then it worked

      • I'm using Chrome…

Maybe your right with the AMEX.. I only use AMEX to get best points.

I do have Visa thought might give that a go!

      • Customers will receive 1 ticket that admits 2. This offer is strictly limited to 1,000 tickets and available until 11.45pm 05 January 2015 unless sold out prior. moshtix does not accept American Express.

        • yep amex issue… i checked out with visa and it worked though the masters NAB thingy…

          Thanks Op :)

  • Just bought mine for Melbourne. Great bargain, was going to buy tickets anyway.

  • Thanks just got mine for Melbourne :) So glad that I didn't get it for $145 at general pants.

  • Just bought for Melbourne too! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I managed to get a friend to buy me Brisbane tickets through Commonwealth Bank. I really want to see Die Antwoord and Prodigy… probably wouldn't have gone without this incentive, so kudos Ozbargain!

  • Brisbane still works, cheers!

  • The sign up process was pretty painful on my phone but got it sorted in the end for Perth with CBA. Nice find OP.

looks to be sold out for brisbane :-(

    • I just got a bris ticket?

  • Youre supposed to put in the ticket buyers name, not the 2nd persons, right?

  • Anyone got their ticket confirmation by email yet? It was meant to arrive within 24 hours.

    • I got my ticket emailed to me within minutes. Probably in your junk folder

Just tried Melbourne now, still seems to be available

      • thanks mate.. got back on and got some more!!!! ;)

  • Ordered almost a week ago but didn't get any tickets. Contacted them on the same day and I'm still waiting for a reply.

Check ur spam folder. I got mine within a minute

      • Yep, checked it second thing. Maybe it's because I bought the Sydney one and you bought the Melbourne one?
Guessing once it runs out, it just doesn't give you any tickets but still takes your money.

You can get your ticket straight from Moshtix. Just go to My Account and you can print it from there.
