Best AA/AAA charger?

Hi there,
Despite owning a few eneloops I don't have a eneloop charger, not that I specifically need an eneloop. Basically I would like a charger with the following requirements.
-Able to charge AA and AAAs.
-Smart charger (does not overcharge)
-Fast
-Charges batteries individually. Most seem to charge in pairs (including the one I am currently using), however as I have a lot of devices that take a single battery and a few that take 3 batteries that isn't ideal for me.
-Cheap (this is osbargain after all).

Any recommendations?

    One of the best that I can remember. Works great with Eneloops.

    Second the La Crosse.

    I'm using mine at the moment, and it's great.

    Being able to charge a single battery is great.

    What's the deal with charging in pairs, what happens if you put a single in?

      It won't charge.

      The La Crosse will charge a single battery.
