I've read conflicting information online about this. Does anyone know with some certainty, if here in Australia any Amiibo figures are exclusive to one store. Or will everything (hypothetically) be available everywhere?

The Rosalina (& Luma) amiibo is exclusive to Target in the United States, similar to Shulk (to GameStop), Meta Knight (to Best Buy), and Lucario (to Toys”R”Us). Other Wave 3 amiibo figures — Bowser, Toon Link, Sheik, Ike, King Dedede, Mega Man, and Sonic — are available through all participating retailers… some of them, anyway.

Target Australia is completely separate from Target America. I haven't heard of any being exclusive in Australia yet but it wouldn't be surprising if Toys'r'Us or Ebgames has something.
Toys R Us doesn't stock current Nintendo products. I think they've even scrapped their XBox and PS stock orders too.
I'm not aware of any wave 3 store exclusives here, however as Ebgames is owned by gamestop, i wouldn't be surprised if they end up having one here in another wave.
