Spotted these guys tucked away in the clothing section of Auburn Costco. Not many left, I'd say about twenty pairs. Great price for leather shoes from this brand though. The boxes were pretty badly man-handled but the shoes are fine.

How is this even a comparison?
Try attending an office-job interview in your $5 K-mart shoes.
Good luck.
BTW Macy's of America has them online on special for USD$170.00 for the Varmons and USD$190.00 on the Metost.

From what I gather Costco gets companies to make items specifically for sale in Costco stores.
I recall a lot of the Calvin Klein underwear and T-shirts you find in Costco state this on the packaging.
As such, and due to the nature of Costco stores, they try to sell stuff that's suitable to as many people as possible (hence seeing only the most popular flavors of chips and sauces and not the flavors from the same companies).
As such I found these particular Hugo Boss shoes, while still Hugo Boss in brand, are pretty similar in styling to other brands and tend to look generic. Which again is suitable for the majority of people, since that's what they're aiming for.
Personally I'd go to the Hugo boss outlets which are having an extra 50% off on outlet pricesat the moment. It usually comes to about 75% of the original retail price, which is usually around $450 and up on the more general styles.
You get more styles too choose from that aren't as generic, but it's also hit and miss with sizes and styles, since it is an outlet store after all.
The deal posted is still a good deal and worth the price if that's exactly the type shoe you're looking for, I'm just presenting other possible options for people who many want something different and perhaps a little less conservative.
And also no membership required.
