Gets pretty good reviews.. bit of a bargain… but i have sooo many speakers!!! argh!

If you have the AMEX deal.. would be $157… which is about 50% of the average USA price… wow!

  I have the Philips. Not the greatest sound (a bit doof-doofy) but a massive improvement on the TV speakers. One annoying thing is that it doesn't remember the volume level, so each time you turn it on you have to adjust it again.

  Got the same phillips soundbar for $79 at DS several months ago. Sound is good for a bedroom TV but that's about it, not strong anough otherwise. I passed it along and reverted to hooking up a small mini CD system to the TV in the beedroom which sounds better and is a bit less doof doofy. Wouldn't pay over $100 for it.
