MadBid - Scam or the Real Deal?

Hi,
I have noticed that there are some penny auctions sites that are giving away thousands $$$ worth of products for very little money.
For example MadBid, QuiBids, BidKing etc.

These sites seems like scams… has anyone in the OzBargain community tried?
Has anyone been successful or unsuccessful?

    lol, i'm surprised people fall for these.

    The answer is yes, people pay very low prices for products. However they've spent considerably more trying to win it. Also need to take into account the countless other people who have also spent money on bids
