OzBargain Duplicated in Chinese Language

So I was goggling for reviews of the Toshiba notebook currently on sale on Dick Smith's ebay store.

Stumbled upon a website www.ozdazhe.com . Looks like a lot of the contents here has been also posted there. No wonder things get 'ozbargained' quickly.

da zhe = sale/bargain. They don't even bother using different name :)

For example : the woolworths gold product promotion

http://www.ozdazhe.com/thread-66044-1-1.html

the exact picture is being used

plus myriad of other bargains.

They've been operating since 2010… wonder if they just copy and paste some of the deals here.

  • coincidentally there is a member here under the username "dazhe" :)

Joined since 2011, but no activities since… could be related?

      • No. Best not to speculate. User "dazhe" is from Tasmania (and we can verify that). However the business behind ozdazhe is in Adelaide.

Already discussed almost 2 years ago. Yes we know about them for quite a while.

My favourite copycat is Slickdeals.co.nz. Not only do they copy our deals word for word but they've also copied Slickdeals website (logo, design, etc).

    • Heard anything from SlickDeals about their trademark mis-used in New Zealand?

      • They said:

        No, it’s not affiliated.

Looking at the number of staff they employ, its probably in the hands of their legal people.
