Website frontpage says $597 after cashback http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/laptop-notebook/ but when you go to purchase is actually $590 before cashback

Just to clarify a little more (even if repeating slightly)
Front page actually says "you pay $697" and has the final price after cashback as $597…
But when you click on the item it comes up at $590 with a further $100 off that - Nice :)

  it's not quite a t4200, but still solid. it's a good deal for 500. at 440 though it was excellent. :(

  T3000 is a dual-core Celeron with 1MB cache running at 1.8Ghz.800Mhz FSB. It's faster than a T1600 dual-core which also has 1MB of cache but runs at 1.66Ghz/667Mhz FSB.
  
  Aussie$ is stronger so seeing some great deals.
