Is there a clear difference between a home brand shower gel, for example, versus a branded one. Price difference can be as much as 50-70% savings even when the branded ones go on sale.
Thoughts?

Has anyone ever used their "money back guarantee" scheme?
What do you tell them to get a refund, it's not washing well enough?
If your skin is as sensitive as mine, you'd get really dry skin that becomes really itchy (I use soap free products like QV because of that.). Though be fair, I have no experience with home brand bath stuff, since I had it really bad with products with soap but I'd assume same thing from home brand stuff.
I've heard sorbolene can be used as a soap substitute for sensitive skin.
there's probably a difference in quality and a bit of mark up i suppose. many homebrand products are made overseas to keep costs down.
all you have to say is you don't like it. they just chuck it in the bin and give you your money back. it's not a 3rd-degree interrogation.
Woolworths is not very fussy about the money back guarantee. I believe it says "no questions asked" on the packaging and in my experience that is pretty accurate. Just tell them you didn't really like it.
I think, generally speaking, the formula for house hold basics is well known, and easy to replicate if you don't use anything specific.
So I've switched to home brand toothpaste coz it's cheaper, still cleans my teeth.
I'll switch to shampoo soon, and I've stopped bath gel all together. (I hopeI ddon't smell)
We use Organic Care for our toiletries.
Cheaper than most other options, and it has pretty good ingredients especially compared to some of the cheap stuff.
How much savings are we looking at?
Their shampoo and conditioner costs $2 last time I checked, not sure on the body wash but I recommend the pink ones for hair care :)
I've used both their haircare and body wash products. They are good. Check them out linky
Yeah, around the $3 mark I think for a fairly decent sized bottle of shampoo/conditioner - significantly cheaper than most. They go on special occasionally. Can't remember how much the body wash is - we use the kids 3 in 1 as body wash so don't buy the plain body wash any more.
Try it, there is a money back guarantee on them.
