      Awesome find! Thank you :D

    • +2

Been wanting this for a while, hopefully it's still going when the site is Un-Ozbargained.

    • Good man!

  • +9

Classic + Timeless game ! Fallout + Dead Space can be played in 100 years - 200 years from now and the game is very fun.
    Hang on … year 2214 , that's like in fallout 3's year

  • grrr ozbargained.

  • +3

    Broke the website?

    • +4

      Correct term is 'OzBargained'. ;)

      • +3

        That escalated quickly…

  • Got in before the rush :) Just curious, is this website an authorized cd key seller?

  • +1

    Error 524 Ray ID: 19792c9a0c0e04c8

Should they be giving out Ray's ID?

    • +2

      Probably not… Google suggests otherwise.

"Many shark and ray species are caught by commercial fishing operations in New South Wales (NSW) waters and refined catch information is vital for the successful management of these species.

These keys are further supported by detailed species information and illustrations so that identification can be made with confidence."

      • Oh I thought Ray was a person, my bad.

      • I got a similar error
        Error 524 Ray ID: 573V3-1RW1N

    • That Ray ID is Cloudflare's reference code to solve the error 524. There must be a server overload now.

  • Already have this game on Steam, but it's free anyway…I'm more than happy to grab another copy.

ps. the website is really slow.

  • Both links have been OzBargained (even with only 544 clicks?)

    I wonder if OzBargain.com ever gets OzBargained…hmmm..

    • +1

I didn't think it was possible, OzBargain.com always runs smooothly.

      • It was offline for a few hours yesterday

  • +2

Dead space is free on france origin site so use hola unblocker and you can get it that way for free.

  • I got through how long will it be to get my games?

  • +3

After playing Dead Space, I stay very far away from vents!

  • +2

since it's already free but you can't grab it might as well torrent it.

    • torrent everything, f*** it, no one will know.

  • +5

Took an hour to add to cart, register, and fill in my details. Now the site is 100% broken :(

    • +3

      +1 for dedication

  • +2

Had to wait until 11pm (WST) for the site to stop being gangbanged.

  • Website still down for me

  • Constantly getting a 404 now, is it over?

Page isn't even trying to load…

    • I get this now:
Unable to connect to database [Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)]

I guess it's still being hammered and is dead.

      • This game is still available for free. But that's about as far as I could get. Web site is definitely having problems and not able to checkout.

Update: Web site Under Maintenance. Hopefully it won't take them too long to fix the problems.

        • So far, I've managed to register, add the games to my cart, and that's when it all falls apart. The checkout page is essentially blank.

  • It's still open! Just got both dead space and fallout collection.

  • +3

Took me all night, but I got this and Dead Space… damn… I wonder how much this promotion has cost them! Their server has been congested all day due to this deal!

BTW, it's not expired yet… just heavily, heavily congested.

You can get your games within several hours and only 10 easy but incredibly slow steps:
    1. Add to cart
    2. Wait for server to crash. Try again in a few minutes
    3. Register
    4. See 2.
    5. Checkout your cart
    6. See 2.
    7. Add extra details, name, address, etc
    8. See 2.
    9. Actually check out your cart. Pay with 0 "gems"
    10. The website has crashed… but you got your order confirmation email, and your URL contains 'thankyou'. Congratulations!

    • Worked for me too, this morning.
Signed up this morning, got my order ID email at 10:20am Sydney time

Waiting to receive the CD-Key email…….

BTW, same for me too, heaps of hitting F5, retrying.
      Shutting browser and trying again.
      Eventually got there.

I'm currently logged in and can see Dead Space in the "My Games" tab.
Used game 'Gems' to pay my Zero balance

    • Yeah, did the ordering yesterday, got the CD keys this morning !!

  • Just got my key too
    10:20 - ordered
10:59 - Key received with download link

    :D

  • Well it says out of stock but ok ^^

    • I've just spent 2 hours trying to get this to work, only to refresh and see the same thing.
      Oh well.

      • I finally managed to create a new account and add the game to my cart. Web site still says "In-stock Delivered within 30 minutes to 2 hours". Just haven't been able to get through the checkout. Which is when the web site all falls apart.

  • The site is under maintenance now. I guess someone woke up and realised how bad the situation was and pulled the pin.

  • +1

Mine finally went through, after about 6 hours of persistence.

  • I finally got Dead Space and Fallout, just need to download them…
My question is though, can you save the game and install it in any PC?
Can you save the downloaded game file, if so would it still need to connect to EA, hope others can find out beforehand, thanks.

Website working fine now. Signed up and placed order with no issues, received confirmation email. Now waiting for CD key email.

    • Runs fast now.. I didn't see my order confirmation so ordered another one. Apparently you can set the order to multiple copies but i didn't try :)

    • Received code 1hr 40min later.

@imcold, when I ordered there was a note next to the quantity saying only 1 copy allowed. I didn't try changing it.

  • Please PM me for additional Dead Space keys. I have three to give away due to clicking the add to cart button multiple times when the site was getting hammered.

    • Didn't know that you're gamer.

  • Anyone have an extra code for fallout?
I can't check out at all, just get a blank page every time I try.

  • this isn't steam redeemable right? (although i already have it on steam)

    • +1

Nope, they give you standalone installers sort of like the ones you might get on GOG.com, but they have unique passwords attached to them that need to be entered before the installer will extract the game files.

  • +1

    Redeemed and installed perfect :)

  • Deal is over for Dead Space. Now back to $4.99. Managed to get a copy. Not a fan of keyboard controls on pc games but Dead Space auto detects and works perfectly with xbox controller and adapter for PC. As the keyboard controls are said to be badly mapped for this game and best played with a game controller. Since just a poor port of the console version.

Also anybody here having problems with dead Space crashing and freezing all the time at the start of the game? My pc is running windows 7 and older 8800gt 1gb video card.

    Fallout is still free.

    • As the keyboard controls are said to be badly mapped for this game and best played with a game controller. Since just a poor port of the console version.

Nothing wrong with the keyboard controls; just map them to whatever works for you. Granted some of them are not customisable but I fail to see what is so odd about the default key bindings as they're the same ones used by hundreds of other Triple-A games (e.g. WASD - movement, SHIFT - run, LMB - Fire, RMB - aim, R - reload, E - Activate/Use - M - Map, TAB - Inventory, etc).

The widely reported “mouse lag” issue is a pain (which is actually to do with the frame rate being capped at 30 FPS instead of the more common 60 FPS) but that can very easily be rectified by forcing Visual Sync on in your graphics driver's control panel and then disabling VSync in the game’s visual settings menu. That did the trick for me.

I actually didn't run into any technical issues on DS1 or DS2 but then again I was using a far more modern GPU than the 8800GT.

      • I noticed that DS1 had many problems when looking into why the game kept crashing for me.

I think I worked it out. Looks like it was the game not liking my older Logitech wireless USB controller. I have since disconnected it when running the game and haven't had it freeze since. I am now using a wireless 360 USB controller and adapter. Which works much better than the keyboard IMO. I'm just not used to PC/Keyboard controller for certain games since I mainly play console games.

It was freezing and then dropping back to windows with programm error as well as C++ runtime error. Which I have also reinstalled from the downloded installation disc.
