This is a seriously good buy from a 5 red star Halliday rated winery! $90/dozen or $7.50/bottle. I won't reveal the wine, but I can give you some hints!
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person. Or, a 1994 film by Richard Donner starring Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, James Garner.
2. two offspring produced by the same pregnancy
I'll leave the rest to your sleuthing skills :)

  • Are these half bottles? If you look at the part 'For the wine nerds'…
    BOTTLE VOL
    375mL

    • That's got to be a mistake, surely they would mention that they are half bottles……

      • They fixed it so now it's showing as 750ml.

  • How does it compare to this?

  • Maverick Twin? ;-p

Haven't tried it or heard of it. What's it like?

  • Is it such a good deal for a 375ml bottle though. Wouldn't the 750ml version prob retail around $20-25?

whoops, i didn't notice that! got to be a mistake…

just checked with Vinomofo. as suspected 375ml is a typo, the bottles are FULL bottles 750ml, corrected now…

        • That makes a difference then. I find the bottle size detail is a bit obscure on Vinomofo and could go a fixup.

  • I understand the local wine industry agreed back in the 90s not to use French regional wine nomenclature on local wines. In which case the use in this instance of 'Bordeaux blend' on the label is not only misleading but embarassing and cringeworthty. And please, spare me the lame excuse that the grapes used are as in Bordeaux. The entry should be moderated out under the 'fakery' clause .. :-( .. !!1

I don't think the wine label has 'Bordeaux blend' on it, I think this is just the descriptive Vinomofo is using… but kind of agree!

    • Works for me.
It's a blend of not so common grapes and
      Red blend too vague.

    • I thought that whole exercise was a crock to be honest. For example if the word Champagne hadn't become the common noun for most sparkling whites it likely would have been something else. Perhaps something that people couldn't get proprietary over and the French would be using it themselves..

  • Thanks got 12 for $74 delivered.

How do I add my account to the random referrers?

    EDIT: Figured it out.

  • I think you'll find that 'Bordeaux blend' is referring to the GSM offering rather than Cab or Shiraz.
