Localized sizing mostly. JP M = AU S, best to check per product though, every single product has their own sizing chart on their website.
Asian sizing is different. I buy in Europe and the XL is a tad big, when I buy in Asia it is way too small

Are uni-qlo au the same sizing as jp? I wish they had a store in Brisbane! Would buy so much stuff, but the sizing worries me.
When I go to Japan I have a hard time finding the right size. Sometimes XL fits but sometimes 2XL is too tight! And stores don't stock sizes larger than XL for all but a handful of items so I've never been able to try on a lot of stuff I want so I don't know if I should order 2XL or 3XL online.
