  • Good prices. Shipping to WA not very economical, but great deal for those who can pick up.

  • How long is this deal on for?

  • Is there a special deal available for the RN314?

  • yeah 459 (its on the page the link points to)

  • Promotions on QNAP NAS? Im looking for a high performance one. eg TS-269 or TS-251

  • How fast can these perform in real life?

    • +1

Poor. thats why I asked for a QNAP one

      • Is it worse than my current WD N900 with the fastest speed of 20MB/s as a NAS?

  • Not Bad…

This deal went from the front page to being hidden in a 2 week old post. Shame on the mod. It's not the upvotes I'm pissed the mods removed, it was all the helpful comments that are now gone.

What a horrible system, this is an example of why it needs to be changed.

The mods have lost the plot. Recently I posted a deal, they unpublished my deal, and the previous deal which was EXPIRED was than published again without the EXPIRED status. Than they apologies, and republished my deal. They are going backwards, power over logic it's pathetic.

      • Well it does sound like it was sorted in the end? Or did I misread?

I posted a forum topic with a poll, hopefully enough people will vote on it and a change may even occur.

        • Why was my deal unpublished when the same deal previously was marked as expired, yet after my deal was removed. The expired deal magically had the 'expired' tag removed.

        • @Moots: think they wanted to prevent reposts.

Edit: not that I agree with their choice but I agree with the principle

  • 2-bay (8TB max. capacity)

So these things cant take 5 or 6 TB drives?

MSY will have this same unit (http://www.msy.com.au/viconline/peripherals/8127-netgear-rn1…) on sale from boxing day for the same price but (for me) shipping will be $11 cheaper than through Computer Alliance.
