Again, price match elsewhere. Target is stuck in 1984.

I can't believe Target is selling games where you capture animals and force them to fight each other for prize money #animalcruelty #petitiontime #lowerthandicksmith

    • +3

We should petition to ban every game and the only game Target is ever allowed to sell is Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.

      • They seem to have glowing reviews

        • +1

Most people have no hard line in the sand, they let the media and their peers sway their morality hither and thither, always moving in whichever way is needed to fit the political agendas of the time.
they are simply never taught, none of us are, why you never let the state control the expressions of any forms of speech. You give them an inch, they take a mile. Just look at what happened to internet regulation. Even now they're strongly pushing towards ISP-blocking of state unapproved sites. people don't understand why this is dangerous. My view is that they simply should not have had that kind of power in the first place.

    • Or where a male Italian plumber could smash his younger brother, a female yoga instructor or a couple of princesses for "glory".

  • Target continues to have the best price for amiibo! A full set of six second wave figures should only cost $84 - $82.32 using ING 2% off PayWave or $79.80 using ME 5% off PayWave.

Hmmm, using a 20% off JB HiFi voucher and assuming they'll continue to sell amiibo for $17, a full set of wave two figures should only cost $81.60 ($17 each x 6 x 80%) - $79.97 using ING 2% off PayWave or $77.52 using ME 5% off PayWave.

Hmmm, using a $10 off $90 spend Big W voucher, a full set of wave two figures should only $80 ($15 each x 6 - $10) - $78.40 using ING 2% off PayWave or $76.00 using ME 5% off PayWave.

I'll support Target - they've consistently offered amiibo at the lowest price without any fancy deal stacking.

    • If you price match at JB then use the 20% off voucher and ME 5% off PayWave, it should come to $63.84 for a full set.

      • Ah yes, price matching!

  • how do i get 20% off at jb?

    • Buy a $50 gift card to get 20% off voucher

  • I purchased standard New 3DS for $197, and then used 10% off staff discount for $177.30. Not too bad. I'm still salty there's no charger. The white plastic looks really cheap. It's a dull colour and not glossy. They clearly designed it expecting you to buy some face plates which are not cheap.

Finding a case or screen protector for New 3DS is incredibly hard.. because every seller puts "new" in the listing to refer to the condition of the item they're selling, not the model of the 3DS.

Just get a 3DSXL carry case. It should be big enough for the new standard 3DS

      • Yes but will it be loose inside?

Finding screen protectors is still hard. Everyone puts "new and sealed" or "brand new" on it, which kills the search engine.

        • -1

You can find accessories for the New 3DS here.

        • It's the downside to getting the New 3DS consoles before the rest of the world (besides Japan). Even club nintendo says you don't get any points when you purchase the new consoles, I am assuming this is because the Europe Club Nintendo isn't set up for these yet? I hope that is all it is, first take away our chargers, then points?

        • @boshimaro: Play-asia shipping charges are expensive now. They used to do free ship for $25+ but now not only did they get rid of that, they increased the shipping charges. It used to be about $3, and now it's about $8-9 for the same item as before.

        • ebgames have screen protectors but they're in a pack so it's like $40 for everything.
in regards to the protective case for the whole unit, I use an old one designed for the original 3DS, it fits just fine despite the system being a different size.

        • @Sage: Doesn't fit into mine. Well it does but it's very tight and the case is getting stretched. I have an officially licensed 3DS case too.

        • @lostn: Oh wow, I stand corrected then.
I have 2 cases and both are okay.
(The brands are Project Design & 3rd Earth)

        • @Sage: Since the new one is wider, thicker, and longer, was your old 3DS loose fitting when inside the case?

    • Try adding "2014" to your search phrase if you're using eBay, I found a few screen protectors for the new 3DS like that.

  • Target Maroochydore - hardly any Amiibos left (certainly not the ones you would want) and no Xbox One Controllers… typical…. but at least Target's advertisements always allow you to price match elsewhere. Good job the likes of JB Hifi never actually check that Target has the stock it advertises!

    • yep. Struggled to get 4 of the second wave after going to 6 different stores on the evening of the 12th (launch day).. next day last place I went to was an EB and got my 5th there .. they not only price matched to target .. but I pre-ordered the next wave - all price matched to $14 also. Pretty happy with that.

  • Hey have you got the docket you take a picture of your wave 3 pre order then I will take it too them so I can pre order mine thanks

  • Oh My God… was just updating the target website and clicked on little Mac amiibo which says 'currently unavailable online', (been checking for days) and it said IN STOCK!!! Was shaking in disbelief entering my details for payment- went through fine but out of stock now for real! For anyone interested diddy Kong and pit are (were) in stock minutes ago! Good luck amiibo hunters!
