I just found out about sfv a ps4 exclusive. I see this is a massive blow to xb1 owners like me.

Nope, it's been confirmed that it is a PS4/PC life exclusive.

It's even going to feature crossplay between PS4 and PC. I'm not a fan of third party exclusives after Capcom killed off the Monster Hunter franchise on Sony consoles but I had to laugh after Xbox claimed that Tomb Raider was exclusive only to have Squenix state that it was only a timed exclusive.
What do they mean by game though. Because remember all the HYPER WORLD GIVE US MORE MONEY EDITIONs capcom release, not all of which are DLC.
Yeah that is very possible of course though as a MH fan I've been hoping for that one for around 6 years now lol.
@Where's_That_Cake: I heard nintendo have some kind of contract and capcom really dont want to have to do a lot graphics work. Also you may have noticed nintendo actually publish MH here nowdays.
@RI4V4N: Nintendo publish all 3DS games here and most WiiU games. That's why we get that red slip with Nintendo points in all games where as in UK its only on Ninty first part games.
That makes sense, what I meant was Nintendo publish MH in America and EU.
It's probably because capcom dont see a western release as making financial sense, when you have to also host servers and can't charge people for them (not sure if they still do in Japan, but they did on MHTRI originally from what i remember).
I don't see what's the big deal about this, it's still available on PC and now the community will be larger/less-fragmented than ever thanks to cross-platform play.
The competitive scene is also not loyal to any platform, they just play on whatever is the best or been given.
I think you will find will be released eventually just a commercial advertising thing
