Just thought some people might prefer this over the smaller version (6, 5, 4 or even the 3 million). I got myself the 6 million dollar bag (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/173492) a couple of days ago and I saw B&H are having a special on the 7 million dollar one this time.

Bargain at US 90.45 for a $7,000,000 bag!
Massive discount..It's an investment, really.
another example of aussies getting ripped off
Which is pretty sad considering the company was founded in Melbourne if I'm not mistaken?
Regardless, still a good deal…
$7,000,000 in Vietnamese currency???
$7,000,000 in Vietnamese currency is 149,555,000,000 dong or 124,119,433,375 dong (depending if the dollars are USD or AUD. could also be CAD, HKD, etc).
(your joke doesn't really work, because dollar refers to specific currencies)
More like 2,000,000 dong.
For 1 Million Dong I rekon you could get a dozen fake ones in 'Nam.
I also bought the 6MDH bag two days ago (on sale for $20 less @bhphoto until NYE) and own the 5MDH. Really happy with the bag quality. These bags keep their value and resell well on gumtree.
I'm also interested in that 6MDH but from the photos on B&H, it looks like the old model.
from Crumpler website 6MDH has been updated with new label. not sure if there's any further changes, maybe the fabric or something else.Just had a chat with one of their reps. He said He doesnt know when they started making this model, they sell bags that come from the US wesbite, but All 6 Million Dollar Homes are the same. They probably make different logos for different regions.
My take is that it's the same bag, just different label. Which I colour black with permanent black texta anyway. I also colour black all Canon logos and badges on my camera, just so people stop looking at what gear I'm shooting with. Make the camera and bag look less valauble.
Hi Mahalo
Can you please confirm if your 6MDH has a tripod strap? Similar to this - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/indepth/sites/default/files/Crum…
@chrislaya: My new bag is in transit, should get here in 5-10 days.
However I believe it does have the tripod straps from the pics and also this video published over two years ago (note the one on the video has the old logo/label same as BHPhoto one) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yDCRv5xV2wWait this video is for the larger bag..@chrislaya: received my 6MDH bag today. It comes with the tripod straps.
Thanks for confirming. Bought! :-)
The new model has tripod strap.
This is the thing that annoys me about Crumpler. It's meant to be an Australian company with quite a few of their bags manufactured here in Australia (or so they say). But it's cheaper to buy anywhere else in the world but here! I picked up a Crumpler bag in Singapore for a little over half the price of the same bag in Sydney!
Its the same as Aesop, its a Australian Brand but cheaper to buy it in the US.
The shipping calculator tells me that every method of shipping is unavailable to Australia?!
I need to find $7,000,000 dollars first so that I can fill the bag with dollars note, else, what is the use of the bag?
Does anyone know when this offer ends because the 6MDH was supposed to end on 8/11/14 but it looks to have been extended.
edit: The fine print says "Special offers are valid for 3 days from date of email"I think the offer ends at 11:59pm on 11 December, Los Angeles time. So that's the 12 December 6:59pm Melbourne time.
Yes thank you, just saw the little note near the price
A similar offer time was also on the 6MDH (ends 8/12/14) but the special price is still valid now.6MDH offer was extended to NYE
Looks cheaper here AU stock, AU $79.95 - $88.95
http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/Photographic-Accessories-/15200/m…Chances are the eBay ones are fake.
I like the look of these bags but am concerned by the lack of zips on the main compartment. Can anyone who's been using one for a while comment on how they go with dust and dirt?
I don't usually take the camera bag anywhere dusty, but for normal use its fine.
It's a bugger that the 7MDH won't fit a FF gripped DSLR with a 70-200/2.8 mounted. Oh well.
wouldnt (one of) your shoulder will get tired using this kind of bag full of heavy camera gear inside?
i thought backpack style is better, weights balance
