Hi, we are travelling on Cebu Pacific from Manilla to Sydney Terminal 4, arriving 11am then need to book onward Virgin flight to Brisbane. How much time should I allow to clear customs and catch this Virgin flight? Nothing is booked yet.

I would leave at least 2 hours. You will need to collect your bags and clear Customs and Immigration prior to going to the domestic terminal which could take up to an hour.
Check in for the Virgin flight online just before take off in Manila. You should know by this stage if the flight is going to be delayed leaving Manila. This will save you a little time at the domestic terminal in Sydney.
Transferring from int to Dom at Sydney is an international disgrace. But most tourists stop at Sydney and so don't experience what Aussies have to endure to get home interstate.
Give yourself plenty of time.
I had issue with virgin travelling from Melbourne to Hawaii via sydney
They delayed three flights and then told us they can't help
Had to run from domestic to international ,thank good taxi driver did his best to get us there but still was 20 min I ll say leave 1-2 hrs as Sydney airport air traffic can go busy
