Does anyone know if we will get tax return (the Tourist Refund Scheme) from this?
Plus it's $999, so I assume no invoice required?
The seller is based on Taiwan, so I suppose there is no GST charged.
But warranty info talks about their Sydney store, and Australian Consumer Guarantees, so I would suggest they are selling under an Australian ABN, thus GST is charged??
IIRC all eBay postings always mention ACL but the seller is based overseas. I wouldn't assume until you have confirmation from the seller directly. Sydney store could be their Authorised Repairer.
As always check before you buy.

Taiwan registered company shipping from Hong Kong.
1 year Apple warranty - but no 2 year Consumer Guarantee.
AU$999 including delivery - So, it is under the GST threshold.
@A3Australia: Sorry, can you clarify: does that mean I will not be able to claim GST back?

No GST is being collected, no GST is being remitted to the Australian Tax Office.
You are buying an overseas market model MacBook Air from Hong Kong. You are the importer. As the item is under AU$1,000 including freight, you are not required to pay GST.
You can not claim a GST refund when you did not pay any GST on this item.
@TassieJones14: I bought samsung galaxy S5 from quality deals and there was no GST charged
@A3Australia: Cheeeerrs! Haha was about to make a rash decision to buy! Luckily I didn't :)
128GB storage might be tight, if this is used for something else other than normal web browsing, word processing and watching stream video.
Good price tho.
Nifty Minidrive :) http://minidrive.bynifty.com/
those look nice but very expensive for a microsd adaptor. you can get similar plastic ones for a few dollars off ebay

I've got a MacBook pro with 500GB and I don't know how people survive with 128GB storage.
