Although they're good at protecting your phone from water, just be warned that they fall apart over time. The rubber separates from the plastic within a few months.
I've gone through 3x iPhone 5 life proof cases. Each one replaced under warranty for the same defects. Hopefully they've perfected their design this time.

Life proof have awesome customer service, there was a faulty with my life proof case for the iPhone 5S, they sent me a replacement within 3 working days!
