I need to replace my Motorola DEFY Plus MB526. I am in a marginal Telstra/Boost only area in Qld, I am on Boost. Does anybody know of a phone less than $300 which is Android 4 at least and as capable as the Defy in weak reception areas. We have the Huawei (bought from Coles $40 a couple of years ago) but we have to take it outside to use. I've also tried a Doogee Voyager 2 DG310 and its a little bit worse than the Huawei. Suggestions would be appreciated. I need it to be able to wifi hotspot as well
Thanks

I was looking at getting a Defy Plus myself with an external aerial because I work in remote bush most of the time and it's suppose to be one of the best for reception. That or the Aspera R5 from Harvey Norman ($400 ish), expensive but I've heard is good if you're in poor reception.
