Dear All
Looking at responses for Smartphone/ Mobile Deals, it is believe that majority of us are now kind of over with it. I don't see deals from MobileCity or Mobiciti or Uniquemobile as often, little or less fight our Android vs Iphone vs Window.
Would like to know your view around Smartphone mania in Australia. Also what new feature ( & not enhancement) would you prefer to have in your smartphone?

For the most part the days of quickly declining android phone prices are over. Look at the nexus 5, cheaper by $20-40 from a year ago and it's considered a "deal". If that was 2012-2013 it would be at least 30-40% off.
i think one of the reasons for the lower decline in price of the nexus 5 is due to the nexus 6 not quite directly replacing it. many people would still prefer the nexus 5 over the 6 due to the size, hence the demand is still there.
It would have contributed to it. But tech is tech. No one would dream of selling an iphone5s for 20 dollars cheaper than a year ago, and that is an iphone with a long history of holding their price. As for size they both ballooned, they both are up to date os.
i think the question was to do with the future after 'smartphones'. If i am correct, I think people are trying to look at 'Newer technologies that will replace the smartphones such as "Smart Watches, earphone mobiles , or 3D mobile phone projection technologies.. I'm waiting on the next evolution of the 'Sony Xperia Playstation phone'. it's been rather quiet some time…
Whats use of this post? How will it help you if i say "smartphone mania" is over or not over.
