1.8m HDMI V1.4 Cable $2.67 at BuyInCoins

31

180cm HDMI V1.4 cable on special at BuyInCoins, says 31% off normal price.

Price is US$2.27, but if you select the price in AUD (drop-down to the left of the price), it is currently AU$2.67, which is 2 cents LESS than what Google says the US->AUD equivalent is. I have found that if you select AUD, BuyInCoins will bill you in AUD (I use Paypal, and have "bill in original currency" selected with PayPal, 28 degrees card).

I know their description says "6FT 2M", but as these two measurements are not the same, it will almost certainly be the shorter one. 6 feet is just over 180cm.

  • Still haven't received my 11 pairs of cheap polarised sunglasses from these guys… I ordered them about 4 months ago.

    • Don't think that's really a valid reason for a downvote. Of the dozens of items I've had sent from China, I've had a couple go missing. One of those items was from BIC. I've checked my email history, and this is what happened:
      - raised dispute through PayPay about day 40
      - BIC responded the next day, said "please wait one more week, if still not received, will refund"
      - A week later, BIC asked (with no prompting) "have you received it yet?"
      - I replied no, and two days later Paypal sent me an email saying case closed, has been refunded.

  • Considering these are likely made in a factory in China, I'd say the metric measurement will be the more accurate one. 6ft is just provided to give American customers a rough idea of the length. The factory that they're made in is not going to make 2 different lengths for metric and non-metric countries.

    • Maybe, maybe not.

I have some "3ft 1m" cables that are 90cm long. I think Asian suppliers cater mainly to the USA, who are probably their main market. Looking at Meritline, that certainly seems to be the case, as they have US and China warehouses.
