Corded Home Phone - CHEAP

i need a basic, cheap, corded home phone.
it will be used to test my phone line so i can further my complain to tpg that i am experiencing drop outs all the time
then it will most likely never be used again so i don't wanna spend much $.

    Knock on your neighbours door and ask to borrow theirs for 10minutes?

      Second this - borrow one that you definitely know is working. My ISP told me "Just because it's new does not mean that it works" which is correct but is a pain in the ass.

      Alternatively gumtree.com.au in your area, or Dick Smith sell a basic corded for ~$25-30

    Woolworths sell a cheap corded phone for $20, in the section where you find headphones and computer accessories. It's possible that smaller Woolworths stores won't have such a section.
