I'm modding a PC for the first time, I'm wondering what are the best online preferably Australian stores to order parts from especially those that seem to be cheapest/reliable/often have discounts or clearances.
I`m interested in purchasing a motherboard,Ram,graphic card etc

msy is usually at least 1 or 2 dollars cheaper per item, they are both the same distance from my house, but i always shop at umart.
I agree with schrimshaw and Calam05. MSY is generally the best, if not then one of the best computer stores in Australia. They are cheaper, reliable and have frequent specials/clearances. They also offer a very wide variety of components.

If you are after specific parts, I usually go to staticice.com.au and browse the most expensive parts I am after and see which of the reputatable stores sells the majority of them the cheapest. Not advised to buy parts individually from stores as the postage kills it, however if it is a big build sometimes items on special can counter this.
I'm happy with my MSY experience. But you can always find deals on specific items.

If you're in Melbourne the Brooklyn and North Melbourne Stores have always been very good to deal with.
Pascoe Vale aren't bad to deal with, but it's always so bloody busy that you'll wait a half hour.
^ thanks scrimshaw, seems it was the Sunshine Coast store I landed at first. I see now each Umart store`s stock differs from one to another.
Might pay to browse all Umart stores!
Pc modding? As in blingy lights, spraypaint and water coolers? eBay perhaps?
For components it's usually MSY, failling that Umart.
