MTA Inspection, worth it or not ?

Hi guys,

After 3 months I have finally decided to buy a 2009 honda accord euro limited edition. Mate is going back to Malaysia for good so he's selling it for $12k with 42k km on the odometer.

Even tho he's my mate I do think I need to get a mechanic to have a look. One of my mates told me about MTA inspection, just wondering if it's good or not. They quoted me $255

    A mobile mechanic would be fine, not sure if the price is better? Friend has had it since new?

      Yeh he bought it new. A close friend actually. Bought it for 31k

      Cheers man. It's actuallky a normal Honda Accord but I still think it's good for the price.

    It is 12k. Just get it checked. 255 is cheap. You could go with RAC if you want.

      Yeh just made my booking with them. Getting the car checked on Thursday.
