Hi OzB!

Received a generic voucher code in the post from Cellarmasters.

T&Cs:

-Delivery charges apply (although our orders went through with no delivery charge).

-This voucher is valid until 31st December 2014 for redemption with online orders only at cellarmasters.com.au on purchases with an order value of $120 in one transaction unless otherwise specified.

-Vouchers can only be used on wine dozen purchases (excludes Twin Packs, 6 Packs, Bin Ends, & Buy 2 get 1 Free offers) and cannot be redeemed on beer, cider or spirits.

-One voucher may be redeemed per person, valid for single use only, not transferable for cash, cannot be used with any other offer. Vouchers are strictly for personal use and cannot be resold.

For those wanting a recco, we were really happy with the last French reds mix so have ordered that again: http://www.cellarmasters.com.au/mixed-cases/wine/french-reds… (came in at less than $90 delivered).

Can you please update your heading to include 'wine only'

    • All done, cheers.

      • Thankyou :)

Try 'BOTTLE' feel free to neg if it doesn't work, I just can't be bothered trying

  • These guys are pretty sneaky, when you register they say they will call you to welcome to the club which really means sell you wine. There's no way to opt out of this that I could see. Also they have a delivery fee then a delivery guarantee fee of $1.20 on top of that.

    • A) I got free delivery ordering a case of French reds with this code. Just the $1.20.

      b) I've never been called or contacted or pressured into joining their club or ordering more wine — definitely unlike Virgin, Nakedwines etc.

It can be hard without name brands but definitely some good wines on offer.

      • I was getting called almost every day by them until I updated the settings on my profile.

      • Delivery was $6.95 for me plus the $1.20.

Before they were taken over by woolies they would call you at set times after you first bought from them to sell you more, not sure what it's like now.

I found the place in your profile where you can specify no calls so hopefully that will stop them calling.

I've been ordering from them for close to 3 years and have never had a phone call. The amount of mail I get can be a bit ridiculous though.

I find it's hard to quantify the value of most of their wines in the first place, as they are mostly all obscure brands (think rebadged cleanskins), with a couple of known names thrown in for 'bait'.

  • Another Woolworths business with a limited range.

  • Thanks for the code!

Coincidentally, I just noticed that the Heirloom Barossa Shiraz 2011 is $34.99, and I am 95% sure it is also one of the mystery wines currently on offer at WineMarket for $13.25! I've not tried this wine though, so can't vouch for it's taste :-)

    • i believe you are right ROGK - not a bad wine at the delivered price of sub $10 from Winemarket with vouchers - but not a $30 wine…..

      • And I believe they both ship from the same warehouse. Both owned by Woolworths.

    • Oddly, the Heirloom 2011 shiraz seems to be available on a stack of wine club websites (wine people, wine direct, wine selectors), but can't be found at bricks and mortar retail outlets. And the 2011 was not the best vintage (though I can't locate scores). IMO, you'd be better off purchasing the Heirloom Barossa Valley Shiraz 2010 from Cellarmasters, which is $21.99 a bottle, down $216 a dozen.
