Not sure if this has been suggested before, but you know how whenever there's a big dick smith or ebay store wide %off sale There's usually a generic deal on the front page with the important deal details and a thousand plus votes, and then lots of smaller deals with specific items from the deal to show people what the best bargains from the deal are.
But then you get people complaining about it being a dupe etc.
What if associated deals from a "parent" deal are nested under, beneath or beside the parent deal.
You could have an option in the settings to "Hide associated deals" and then there would be a + button to expand the child deals from the parent deal on the front page, or something similar.
Or my preferred option, because i personally like to see these deals, you could have the parent deal, and then next to it on the same row, have the child deals with just the description, upvote counter and comment counter, but no image or poster or other details so you could fit 3 or 4 child deals in one parent deal space. And then if you click a child deal it takes you to that deal, or if you click the "Associated deals" heading at the top it takes you to a new page showing only the parent and child deals on their own page fully expanded.

Also, need to change the font of the upvote counter to allow for 4 digits to fit in the box, cos there has been a few deals lately with over a thousand votes and the votes counter doesnt fit in the box when there is 4 digits.
